Brand Manager (Consumer Foods)

PepsiCo

Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Reading
Contract type: Full time
Overview

At PepsiCo UK, we’re proud to make some of the nation’s favourite snacks and drinks—like Walkers, Quaker, Doritos, Pipers, and Monster Munch. With sites across the UK, including our Quaker mill in Cupar and Doritos factory in Coventry, we’re also home to one of the world’s largest crisp factories in Leicester.

We’re launching something new in snacking—built for how people want to eat today. Better choices, without compromise on taste, connection or experience.

We don’t just want to put another product on the shelf. We want to build a brand people choose, talk about, and feel part of.

This role isn’t just about managing a brand. It’s about building one.

That means:

Creating a community

Building a story people connect with

Showing up in culture, not just in campaigns

That’s where you come in.

You’ll operate with an entrepreneurial mindset—owning both the thinking and the doing. This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up, with the backing, scale, and capability to make it big.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and launch of a new snacking brand—from shaping the idea to bringing it to life in market
  • Build a brand from day one by creating a distinctive brand platform that connects with real people and reflects where food culture is heading
  • Understand your audience deeply—their motivations, needs and behaviours—and build a brand people relate to, not just recognise
  • Create a community of people who love and advocate for the brand, using social, creators and communities to drive credibility, trial and talkability, and spotting cultural moments to act on fast
  • Lead end-to-end campaign development, delivering high-impact creative and bringing ideas to life at pace in collaboration with agencies and internal teams
  • Track performance and continuously optimise
  • Partner with commercial teams to land strong in-market execution and translate brand strategy into customer and channel plans, identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion
  • Combine strategy, creativity and execution in one role, operating with a start-up mentality backed by scale

Qualifications

  • Marketing experience (FMCG or consumer brands preferred)
  • Creative excellence – strong potential in developing and delivering best in class marketing & shopper campaigns
  • Social and culture savvy with a digital-first mindset
  • Insight & Analytical skills – confident with data and financials and able to translate those into actionable brand recommendations
  • An entrepreneurial, ownership mindset
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration
  • Proven ability to deliver innovation to market
  • Experience launching or growing brands is a plus
