Job Title: Battery-Electric Machine Technology Manager

About The Role
We are looking for a Battery-Electric Machine Technology Manager to support the rollout, operation and optimisation of our growing battery-electric machinery portfolio. You will act as the technical lead for this evolving area, providing high-level expertise, resolving complex issues, and working closely with Product Support, engineering teams and customer support centres.
You will also play a key role in developing and delivering specialist training, helping to build capability across the business as we transition to cleaner, smarter technology.
Key Responsibilities Include
You will bring strong technical expertise alongside the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. With a proactive approach to problem-solving, you will be confident supporting both colleagues and customers in a fast-evolving technical environment.

- Providing expert technical support on battery-electric and hazardous-voltage systems
- Diagnosing and resolving complex issues across heavy equipment
- Developing and delivering specialist training on battery-electric machines and charging systems
- Supporting the planning and deployment of charging infrastructure and site readiness
- Acting as the subject matter expert for battery-electric technology
- Coaching and mentoring colleagues to strengthen technical capability
You will bring strong technical expertise alongside the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. With a proactive approach to problem-solving, you will be confident supporting both colleagues and customers in a fast-evolving technical environment.
You Will Have
- A technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive or Plant engineering
- Hazardous-voltage safety/competency certification
- Experience working with construction or heavy equipment (electric or hybrid preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- The ability to develop and deliver effective technical training
- Knowledge of charging infrastructure and site requirements
