Bank Support Worker at Forest View

Salary: £13.80 per hour

Hours: Bank - Zero hours

Shift Times: As/when needed in service -12hr shifts (07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00)

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Bank Support Worker who is ready to make a positive impact at Forest View, a 60-bedded care home located in Burgess Hill, designed specifically for individuals living with dementia. This facility focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment that addresses the unique needs of residents with dementia.

Job Responsibilities

As a Bank Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. This will include, but not limited to:

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
