About The Role
To provide effective administration and reception support in JTL Tyneside and the wider Northeast regional training centres.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- To provide general administration support for the Centre and staff as required.
- Manage and maintain timetabling systems, booking arrangements for workshops, classrooms and meeting rooms for the JTL Northeast region centres.
- Respond to all incoming telephone calls, ensuring that these are answered promptly and dealt with effectively.
- Receive and challenge where necessary all visitors to the centre, ensuring that their requirements are effectively met and creating a favourable first impression.
- Maintain a safe and secure centre environment and comply with all necessary policies.
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post as delegated by the Centre Manager.
- Manage and maintain exam bookings and operation including rooming and invigilator arrangements.
- Assist with the collation and updating of the Centre diaries.
- Assist with the administration of the centre stationery and stock.
- Open up and close the Centre from time to time as delegated.
- Actively engage in other such duties, under the discretion of the centre managers as and when necessary.
- Keep apprentice tracking documents up to date.
- Carry out invoicing and raise Purchase orders.

- GCSE, Maths and English, A-C or equivalent
- Good IT skills
- Good organisational skills
- Good telephone manner
- Good customer facing skills
- Administration experience.
