The ideal candidate will have considerable experience working within the water hygiene industry, undertaking all relevant maintenance, monitoring, repair, sampling and analysis of water hygiene treatment systems.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Will have good working knowledge of the Water hygiene industry and will have experience working within the industry, ideally as an water hygiene engineer.
- Will have extensive experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites.
- Will have extensive knowledge of relevant Health & Safety & other regulatory legislation.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Proficient in using Microsoft office.
- Undertaking routine temperature monitoring and water sampling - ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Carrying out water hygiene assessments / analysis on closed systems & chemical dosing.
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of water systems.
- Identify and rectify any issues or potential risks related to water quality.
- Install, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment.
- Use power tools and hand tools as necessary for the job.
- Provide recommendations for improving water hygiene practices.
- Ensuring that all works are being carried out within ACOP L8 and relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Using information from the site to produce detailed reports for clients.
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
