Our client is a friendly, local installer of gas & heating systems, including renewable energy technology who have been established for over 30 years. With a well-established client base around Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas, they have a thriving engineering division that requires a new Renewables Engineer (Heat Pump Engineer)

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine optimal placement and configuration of heat pump units.
  • Installing, commissioning, and testing heat pump systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with existing heat pump systems, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
  • Keeping accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, equipment specifications, and service reports.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in heat pump engineering.

Qualifications

  • You will have at least 3-year experience as Renewable Energy Heating Engineer, who is proficient/ qualified in the following areas: -
  • F Gas certified (or equivalent)
  • 17th or 18th Edition regulations
  • Experience of heat pumps, solar thermal, air & water pumps, biomass boilers
  • Service, maintenance and fault finding duties
  • Experience in working with Daikin and/or Mitsubishi equipment (or equivalent)
  • A valid driving license is also required as travel around the Bristol/ Bath and surrounding areas is required

In return, my client are offering a salary of up to £42k with overtime available + vehicle+ fuel card
