36 Hours Per WeekAbout The Role
The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a Leading Nuclear Defence Client
Key Responsibilities Include
Collate pre-tender infrastructure estimates and cost planning.
Prepare cost input for Monthly Reports to client and Project Management
Review and develop cost plans produced by subcontractors.
Support in contract negotiation and minimize variance.
Maintain control baselines for costs and profitability with periodic updates.
Identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in compiling cost control procedures.
Monitor and report on subcontract costs and future trends.
Prepare forecasts of future costs and review subcontractor claims
Evaluate subcontract claims up to delegated financial authority.
Input into business case and spend profiles.
Utilize tools to support project forecasting, including Earned Value
Perform any other duties as required.What you need to succeed:
MCIOB, MRICS, or equivalent .
Working towards RICS chartership.
No nuclear obligations
Demonstrable quantity surveying experience in a construction environment,
