Job Opportunity: Information Security Manager

Location: Crawley - Hybrid (2 days per week in office)

Permanent/Full time

The Role

Join a dynamic team in Crawley as we seek an Information Security Manager to help establish best practice within a multinational semiconductor industry leader. Your pivotal role will involve working with the legal department to enforce standards and policies, owning the information security strategy, and ensuring seamless communication across the business. Be a driving force in shaping a culture of information security excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive corporate information security programme in line with global objectives.
  • Liaise with management and business users to recommend information security practices that meet business needs.
  • Provide leadership to the corporate information security organisation.
  • Manage the development of information security standards, best practices and systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to raise awareness of security risk management issues.
  • Keep abreast of the security threat landscape and provide guidance on information security risks.
  • Conduct security reviews and provide regular reports to senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Recognised information security qualification (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, GCCC or CGEIT).
  • Strong knowledge of application, data storage, platform, network and physical security.
  • Detailed understanding of NIST and other security standards and privacy frameworks.
  • Experience in designing and implementing information security solutions.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, matrixed team structure.
  • Knowledge of governance, risk and compliance.

The Candidate

  • Have experience implementing information security practices in a large, multinational organisation.
  • Demonstrate experience in building control/compliance frameworks.
  • Have information security or audit and IT leadership experience.
  • Be available to travel globally.
