Duties will include carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs, installation, calibration/verification of equipment within interesting and varied industries such as aggregates & minerals, Agri-bulk, environmental services & food production. The type of equipment can vary from small to large industrial machinery.

  • You should be comfortable working on your own or within a small team from a service vehicle within a variety of customer premises (mainly outdoors) - typical environments are quarries, docks, recycling plants and transfer stations and factories.
  • Applicants must have field service experience of working in a similar field engineering role (industrial machinery or equipment) and possess relevant training in electro/mechanical engineering.
  • Good attention to detail and enjoy problem solving with positive and optimistic can-do attitude.
  • You must support health & safety, quality, and engineering processes & practices.
  • You should be customer focused in a positive, professional, and courteous manner at all times.

Required

  • Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification with experience of repairing industrial machinery/equipment.
  • Field service experienced dealing with customers on customer's sites daily.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Good PC skills (Microsoft Office/Outlook).
  • Good communication skills - oral and written
  • Permission to work within the UK
  • Experience of service, repair, installation of equipment is desirable but not essential.
