Solar Design Engineer, Watford Company profile: A Key player in the Renewable energy industry is currently expanding and is looking for a Solar Design Engineer to join them on their journey. The business's expertise is the engineering, procurement, and construction of renewable energy projects, with a range of renewable energy projects within the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Africa and Canada, with a turnover of over £20M and an extensive client book. Their primary focus in the UK is on the Design, installation, and maintenance of Solar Farms. Based near Watford. Responsibilities: Study and analysis of documentation of projects. Research, study and technical implementation of local codes/standards. Create designs, including layout, energy/feasibility studies. Create energy system designs. Support construction phase, interacting with PMs, Engineers and Sub-contractors. Skills: 1+ years experience working as a Solar Design Engineer. Experience with AutoCAD. Experience with PVSyst (Optional but desirable). Experience with PVcase (Optional but desirable).
