Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Creative Classroom Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education in Sunderland. As a Creative Classroom Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and personal growth, creating a positive and empowering learning environment.

The Role:

  • The Creative Classroom Assistant will be present during all curriculum lessons in the classroom, based in Gateshead.
  • You will provide support to small groups of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • One-to-one assistance will be offered to students who require personalised learning approaches.
  • We value collaboration and teamwork, and as a Creative Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with students, staff, and parents to create an inclusive and cooperative learning environment.
  • This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in students' lives.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK is essential for this role.
  • A current enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required, or the willingness to obtain one.
  • The successful candidate will have a friendly, approachable, and patient attitude, serving as a positive role model for our students.
  • Resilience and adaptability are key qualities required, as you will encounter changing situations in this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
