We are seeking a Principal AI Solutions Architect to lead the charge in our cutting-edge AI initiatives. This pivotal role demands a hands-on approach and the ability to drive innovation with autonomy and exceptional technical acumen. The ideal candidate will be a visionary in the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning landscape, adept at identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends to shape our strategic direction.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a thought leader in AI, forecasting technological evolutions and integrating them into our strategic vision.
  • Excel in the development of AI Proofs of Concept and Minimum Viable Products, guiding them from inception to full-scale production.
  • Identify and exploit high-impact AI applications within our offerings, crafting scalable technological frameworks.
  • Maintain an unwavering commitment to professional growth, mastering the latest in Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, and Deep Learning.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to enhance their technical skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers, to architect, refine, and deploy sophisticated AI solutions.
  • Act as an ambassador of innovation, delivering keynote speeches, hosting webinars, and authoring insightful publications that influence the industry and drive transformation.


 

  • A robust foundation in computer science, emphasizing AI and Data infrastructure design.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience as an engineer, designing and executing large-scale solutions in cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems.
  • Strong AI and ML principles, with a track record of model development, deployment, and mastery of MLOps practices.
  • Experienced in crafting enterprise-scale cloud-native AI/ML solutions
  • Proficiency in data pipeline orchestration across hybrid environments, leveraging the latest in Azure and allied technologies.
  • Expertise in data processing with tools like Spark or Dask, and fluency in Python, Scala, C#, or Java.
  • Expertise in DevOps and CI/CD automation, ensuring seamless deployment with tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Expertise in utilizing Azure AI Search or Elasticsearch for advanced content analysis and indexing & developing RAG services.
  • Experience in managing data workflows and Kubernetes clusters on AKS, utilizing tools such as Airflow, Kubeflow, Argo, and Dagster.
  • Familiarity using scripting languages and tools such as Bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, and Helm Charts.

 



Location: This is a global role so we are open to AI talent from outside the UK. We have other legal organisations in the Scandinavian countries, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Poland. We look forward to receiving your application.
