We are seeking a Product Development Project Manager who will be responsible for working with the Marketing and Innovation (M&I) Project leads, specifically the Innovation and Product Development (I&PD) department, to lead, manage, coordinate and drive the completion of bespoke, electromechanical, consumer-facing projects with a global reach, into the hygiene and wellbeing industry. Accountable for bridging between teams to drive projects to completion through a series of developmental gates, using project management processes; (Waterfall combined with SAFe scaled agile principals) and the M&I project management framework (PMF) to ensure governance from initiation to technical sign-off, to achieve goals and KPIs on time, to agreed quality and within the agreed budget. Applicant characteristics: An experienced project/programme manager familiar with working within an engineering environment to deliver new products. Does not design features, but has experience of doing so. Demonstrable capability of NPD project/programme management, leading cross-functional teams within a matrix organisational structure to deliver multiple concurrent projects. Confident in leading a peer group and holding stakeholders accountable to deliver a body of work on time to a controlled specification. Emotionally intelligent; ability to read a room and navigate conflict. Able to identify your audience and adapt how information is shared and presented to influence and secure stakeholder engagement. What you will do: Act as the Project Manager, supporting Project Leads on a number of projects as assigned. Work between and bridge cross-functional project teams, including (but not limited to) Engineering, category marketing, procurement, supply chain, quality, operations, regulatory, legal and vendors, through each phase of the projects Manage programme increment (PI) planning events and ongoing sprints to help establish and maintain RACI, identify dependencies and align development to business goals while fostering cross-team collaboration. Gains agreement and commitment with the team on what will be delivered by the end of the sprints and the definition of done. Support the project lead to clarify, define and document the project scope and all activities at the start of each project and manage any changes to the scope throughout the project through change control processes. Ensure plans and activities are tracked and managed using common project management tools such as Gant charts and our project management software JIRA to identify and drive the critical path. Monitor project spending in line with the budget and deliverables and flag risks. Work alongside governance to understand & refine our processes and ensure the development teams are working within the framework and reporting at each developmental stage gate as required. Manage and influence to ensure all activity is completed and the projects remain on track. Identify delays, risks and issues and then rapidly engage all stakeholders to review the situation, make recommendations, own all communication on progress to the stakeholders and ensure everyone is aware of the situation and solution.   • Excellent English written and verbal and communication
  • Full current driving licence
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) skills. Desirable
  • SAFe (Scaled Agile) Project Management experience
  • Project Management certification
  • PRINCE 2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or equivalent
  • Knowledge and use of Jira software for task management
