An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Transplant Directorate to provide high quality administrative support and line manager a team.


The role requires you to have good organisational skills that will contribute to the efficiency of the department and make an overall difference.


You will need to have excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel, internally and externally from the Trust and develop effective working relationships with all.


We are looking for someone who is eager to learn new skills and be able to adapt to change in a busy, challenging but rewarding environment. You should be able to work both autonomously and within a team as well as prioritising and organising workloads in order to meet deadlines. 






Main duties of the job



To manage a professional, effective and efficient administrative service to the Transplant Directorate which includes HPB, Transplant and General Surgery to all its users including patients, services, relatives and colleagues. This role supports senior management in improving the service in the utilisation of clinics and managing waiting lists. You will manage invoices, coordinate, arrange and minute take meetings.


This is an interesting and challenging role, with developmental opportunities, bringing the post holder in touch with a variety of departments and professionals within the Trust.
