2. The Role

This is an ideal role for someone looking to start their career in HR and gain administration experience. You will predominantly work on our recruitment and onboarding process, providing recruitment administration support including advising managers on recruitment campaigns, supporting with drafting job adverts/role profiles, posting jobs on job boards, and setting up interview arrangements. You will play a vital part in managing our onboarding process by drafting offer documentation, conducting pre-employment checks and being the first point of contact for our New Starters to ensure they are welcomed into the Club in the best possible way.

You will also provide first level HR support to our employees across the Club in areas such as annual leave, references and employee benefit queries. You will also support our employee lifecycle process by drafting documentation such as employment contracts, contract amendments, and processing maternity and paternity requests.

There will also be the opportunity to get involved and play an active role in supporting key HR projects and initiatives, for example, the co-ordination of the monthly HR and Payroll newsletter sharing key departmental updates across the Club.

The role is based at full time onsite at Villa Park and you will need to be flexible to support occasional HR activities during evenings and weekends.
