Job Description



Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Shipping Administrator for a client based in Newport. This role is temporary full time and ongoing



Pay Rate: £12.61

Hours Per week: 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 3.00pm Friday

Free Parking on site!



As a Shipping Administrator your duties will include


    Raising and issuing shipping documents


    Liaising with Freight Forwarders via email, online portals and over the telephone


    Recording shipment details


    Following up on Shipments not collected with 48 hours


    Tracking Shipments daily acting on any issues should they arise


    Filling all documents with the systems for audit purposes


    (Full training will be provided)



The successful candidate for the Shipping Administrator role will also need the following skills


    Experienced IT user ideally using SAP would be advantageous


    Experience using Microsoft Excel


    Accurate with inputting data into systems


    Excellent communication skills


    Ability to solve problems


    Ability to work to strict times called and deadlines
