There are two fulltime roles available. Both with rotational shift patterns.
The successful candidate will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to acutely unwell medical patients admitted to the unit. Acute Medical Receiving Unit (AMRU) consists of three wards 50/51/53. Within these wards we have 5 different specialties respiratory/ general medicine/ gastroenterology/ older people services and hyper acute stroke. The unit has a capacity of 68 patients and is a dynamic/ fast paced/ acute clinical area. Staff are required to competently perform the necessary basis/ technical/ invasive/ physical aspects of care for this defined patient group. Ensure that patient flow is maintained within a safe environment.
