We are looking for an experienced field salesperson to join our Northern team, which covers the following counties – East Lancashire, West and South Yorkshire (postcodes – OL, HD, HX, WF, LS, S). In this area you will be responsible for independent distribution merchants, buying group customers and independent wholesalers.

The Northern region stretches from East to West, from the Scottish boarder as far down as Derbyshire. The team consists of 4 Business Development Managers and this role would suit an individual that is proactive, has strong relationship building skills, enthusiastic and a desire to succeed.

Purpose of the Role

To maximise sales and profitability through the education, and relationship management of customers and potential customers within the Distribution Market.

The Skills:

  • Strong field sales experience within the construction industry.
  • Strategic management of area to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships. Industry knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Must be I.T Literate and have working knowledge of CRM systems. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.

  • Clean, current driving licence.
  • Minimum of 2 years field sales experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
  • Must live in the area to be covered.
  • Must be I.T Literate and have working knowledge of CRM systems. 
  • Industry/competitor knowledge would be advantageous
