Health & Safety Co-ordinator
Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:30 (42.5-hour week)

We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Co-ordinator, based at our Head Office in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.This role reports to the Group Audit Manager.
About the role:
You will assist in overseeing and influencing health & safety across Dawsongroup and be responsible for but not limited to:
- Updating and delivering H&S inductions to new employees based in Head Office, including the Accident and Near Miss Reporting TBT and Quiz
- Monitoring H&S training progress within Head Office and prompting the responsible line managers to ensure outstanding courses are completed
- Assisting in investigating accidents and serious near misses and ensuring corrective action is taken
- Observing, reporting, and liaising with the H&S Reps for other Dawsongroup businesses and making recommendations on serious breaches of safe working practice
- Keeping the H&S posters and fire procedures up to date
- Managing and developing EcoOnline and overseeing the incidents reported by business units
- Assisting the Group Audit Manager in the quarterly H&S Committee meetings
About the Health & Safety Co-ordinator:
- Experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally a minimum of three years
- Experience in writing and updating risk assessments
- NEBOSH qualified, or currently working on obtaining a NEBOSH qualification
- Experience in conducting H&S inspections and writing H&S materials (i.e. toolbox talks, safe systems of work) is desirable
