Blue Arrow have an exciting opportunity for a non - destructive testing technician on a temp to perm basis. On the job training is provided so no specific experience is required. You just need to have a great attitude to learning, be flexible and able to work away from home when required. If this sounds like you then please read on.



Pay: Starting at £11.80ph with additional payments for working away from home
Hours: Mostly Monday - Friday, starting around 07:00/08:00am until around 5pm, occasional weekend working.

The NDT technician roles day will include but not limited to:



  • Travelling to and from sites in a company van

  • Representing the company with great customer service

  • Investigation work using handheld tools such as drills

  • Manual handling where required

  • Carrying out investigation and testing and accurately recording data

  • Maintenance of equipment where required

  • Using great communication to clients, colleagues and public

  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth running and completion of allocated jobs



What we are looking for:



  • Good English & Maths skills

  • Full UK driving licence is a must (due to the travel involved with the role)

  • Someone who is comfortable working outdoors in all weathers

  • Able to commit to working away from home to complete jobs (you will be given notice on this)

  • Great communication skills

  • IT skills and a good understanding of excel

  • Ideally have experience in a testing role (but is not essential)
