A bit about the job:

A dedicated Sustainability Governance Manager will help the business focus on the deliberate strengthening of our governance structures, in turn, helping the business to deliver on our key strategic priority to partner with clients to deliver their sustainability goals and preferences. Our sustainable investing capabilities are an important commercial differentiator for Aviva Investors. Within this role, the successful candidate will help ensure successful delivery of our sustainability strategy, the foundations of which are robust governance structures. Within this role the successful candidate will also review ESG policies, as necessary and play a central role in the creation of the Responsible Investment Annual Review.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Understanding of and ability to stay on top of sustainable investing governance at Aviva Investor




• Strong stakeholder management skills. 




• Ability to assimilate and digest large amounts of disparate information to draw out insights with rigorous attention to detail.




• Delivery of Board level and exco ESG reporting – quantitative inputs together with context and training, whilst maintaining an holistic view of Risks and Controls in AI ESG.




• Secretariat to the ESG Business Oversight Committee (Global Head of ESG's personal committee) – the most senior ESG committee at AI charged with ensuring ESG policies and processes are consistent with rest of the business.
