Indirect Procurement Category Buyer responsibilities:




  • Support the end-to-end procurement process across their Professional Services, Logistics, and Operations categories - including but not limited to sourcing, contracting, supplier relationship management, and award recommendations.

  • Collaborate with pivotal stakeholders to identify the company's needs and support the consequential development of effective category management strategies.

  • Unlock opportunities for commercial growth through market and spend data analysis, presenting your findings to assist in category planning and sourcing strategizing.


Indirect Procurement Category Buyer requirements:




  • Strong experience working within a procurement function. Ideally, working as a Buyer in a Retail or FMCG organisation.

  • Exposure to the contracting and tendering process, including drafting, and negotiating. Preferably you will have a succinct knowledge of contract law and relevant legal terminology.

  • Good academic background, having studied to A-Level standard, and have completed or have prospects of obtaining a CIPS qualification.


This is a hybrid role, where you will be based 3 days a week (or as many more as you prefer) at their headquarters in Coventry, and the rest from home.



Procurement candidates must have full rights to work in the UK and be 100% business fluent in English.
