About the role
The Software Asset Management Coordinator will carrying out activities to support the management and optimization of IT2A’s software assets. Your role will carry out processes that encompass the software asset lifecycle from procurement, deployment and usage through to disposal. Assisting the IT2A Software Asset Manager and working closely with our managed service partner, you will aid the accurate reporting of licence entitlements and usage, identifying risks and opportunities for appropriate action.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain processes, policies and standards for effective asset management.
- Work with IT asset management tools (as appropriate) to monitor and report on assets
- Support in the detailed inventory and accurate recording of software licences, agreements and other related information
- Assist in the decisions related to IT asset purchases, redistribution and optimization
- Collaborate with procurement and deployment teams
- Supporting in the identification of opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements,
- Provide assistance with licence audit response activity,
What you’ll need to have
- Knowledge of IT software asset management practices and principles
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Organisational and communication skills, able to operate processes and handle queries independently and confidently
