Job Description


Recruitment Consultant - The Role



  • Identify and develop client relationships - understanding in current and/or future recruitment needs

  • Being consultative - ensuring the clients find the right talent for their business

  • Attend meetings with both clients and candidates to maintain those relationships

  • Sourcing suitable candidates and briefing them on the opportunities offered

  • Offering CV and career advice

  • Providing aftercare service - client and candidates to check everything is running smoothly

  • Managing a full 360 recruitment cycle

  • Driven to succeed

  • Strong communication and people skills: you are the go-between connecting candidates and hiring managers, so you must have the ability to accurately convey information throughout the entire hiring process

  • Confident and empathetic: You need to understand that different people have different needs. The whole process can be very stressful, so you need to be there to make it easier for everyone and speak to a wide variety of people

  • Team Player

  • Happy to commute to Reading

  • Being flexible and adaptable
