FLT Reach Truck Driver


Sunday - thursday: 10.00PM - 6.00AM


Pay Rate: £14.93 PER HOUR & Overtime £22.40 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties



  • Driving/Operating a Reach Truck

  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner

  • Moving and transporting stock into the correct areas of the warehouse

  • Loading and unloading vehicles and pallets from vehicles

  • Receiving and unpacking incoming goods and taking inventories as required

  • Organising stock for deliveries and wrapping and securing

  • Stacking and stowing pallets away

  • Adhering to Health & Safety at all times and promoting a safe working environment

  • Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods

  • Organising stock for deliveries and reporting any stock difference to Management

  • Promoting a safe work environment and reporting any safety concerns or issues to Management

  • Clearing work area of any debris and keeping the traffic routes clear of obstructions.

  • Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.

  • Other duties as assigned


Essential Skills


The following skills are essential to this role:-



  • Valid Reach Truck Licence

  • Experience driving/operating a Reach Truck for a minimum 1 year

  • Punctuality and good time-keeping skills

  • Strong teamwork skills

  • Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to deadlines

  • 0 tolerance to alcohol and drugs (both will be tested before the internal assessment


Desirable Experience



  • Own transport would be a benefit due to the location of the site


What training is provided?



  • Full training provided with plenty of progressions.
