My client is a leading investor looking to recruit and develop a Financial Modeller to support with the build, review and maintenance of their portfolio of financial models that are integral to decision making both in terms of the current portfolio of assets as well as potential acquisitions.

My client are looking for a qualified or newly qualified accountant with a strong analytical flair and advanced excel skills looking for enhanced and structured career development within a supportive team who are committed to helping their workforce reach their potential.

On offer is a salary of £40K - £50K (dependent upon experience), 20% bonus, 10% employer pension contribution, health insurance and hybrid working.  In addition a structured development plan will be on offer and supported progression.

The Financial Modeller will:

•

• Review, update and amend the financial models for the full portfolio of operational assets
  \t


• Work alongside the finance team to ensure the financial models are fit for purpose and the information generated provides usable insights to drive decision making
  \t


• Act as the subject matter expert and provide technical advice to the finance and operational teams
  \t


• Develop and implement an internal audit schedule for the portfolio of financial models
  \t


• Ensure best practice is followed for financial  models across the portfolio
  \t


• Upskill the wider team in excel and financial models
  \t


• Provide performance reports and updates up to and including board level
  \t


• Develop financial models to review potential acquisitions and drive acquisition strategy
  \t


• Keep up to date with external financial modelling best practice and implement new developments
