We are looking for someone to join us in what is a new role of Commercial Coordinator as part of our Horniman Museum Enterprises (HME), the Horniman’s trading subsidiary, which has the key aim of providing financial support for the long term future of the Horniman Museum and Gardens by growing commercial opportunities and raising sustainable income.

The role is a great opportunity to get hands on business development experience across all commercial areas of the Horniman including events, experiences, retail and catering, working in a dynamic and ambitious environment.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a commercial area. You will be creative, dynamic with an understanding of marketplace trends, good at generating ideas and ensuring subsequent delivery is based on sound financial planning, strong research and good market understanding.

The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and a hands-on approach to operational day-to-day duties and strong financial skills with previous exposure to preparing business cases and forecasting potential opportunities.

The closing date for completed applications is 10am on Monday 5th December. Interviews will be held on Wednesday, 14th December, 2022.
