  • As a valued member of our team, Support Workers help our service users to learn new skills.
  • Being a Support Worker involves assisting with activities during the day, such as cinema and theatre trips, arts and crafts and activities in the community. You might get involved with an activity you have never done before!
  • As a Support Worker, you will assist service users with day to day living tasks, whilst ensuring that they are encouraged to reach their full potential and promote their independence.
  • Additional duties as a Support Worker include helping with personal care, which can involve washing, bathing and toileting, occasional administration of medication, note taking, cleaning duties and providing emotional support and providing support during appointments.
  • Support Workers may need to help service users with maintaining a tenancy – doing tasks such as budgeting, paying bills, home maintenance and dealing with correspondence.
