What you'll do

As a Senior Client Dealer, you’ll be delivering the securities dealing service for all of our propositions in accordance with FCA regulations. Your dealing will be conducted in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the fair management of client propositions, while identifying opportunities for value creation.

You’ll also be supporting the effective implementation of system upgrades and maintaining an up to date knowledge of market developments, trading methods, ISAs and ISA helpline processes to make sure that you deliver the best possible service.

You’ll also be:

  • Managing and executing trades in equities, exchange traded product’s, fixed income, collective investment schemes, secondary structured products and exchange traded derivative’s with approved counterparties in an accurate, compliant and timely manner

  • Supporting your line manager to monitor best execution quality to make sure that best execution is received for all orders captured and executed by UK dealing desk colleagues

  • Seeking out opportunities to grow the business and improve the operating model, and contributing towards the incremental development of our platform and colleagues

  • Ensuring compliant order capture from execution only clients and monitoring the quality of the order capture process to safeguard and improve client experiences

  • Delivering process improvement and internal marketing initiatives and liaising with suppliers and other departments to understand the full capability of the platform

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone who is accomplished in client facing roles with experience of covering all asset classes. You’ll have the ability to build excellent working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues. And, we’ll look for you to have some line manager experience along with the ability The ability to train and coach others.

We’ll also expect you to have:

  • Experience of dealing in a client facing role covering all asset classes

  • A Level 3 Capital Markets qualification or above

  • Knowledge of helpline workings

  • A strong, in-depth understanding of the UK protection market and the ability to demonstrate how protection products are utilised to meet client needs

  • Thorough knowledge of execution venues and trading methods

  • The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all activities and minimise the risk of errors
