Head of EMEA People Team

What you’ll do:

  • Overall responsibility for employee experience for EMEA

  • Assess and monitor Expedia Group hub health and vibrancy across all sites in EMEA working with hub leaders

  • Help activate and operationalise the various aspects of the People Team strategy such as, performance activation, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, hybrid and return to office approach, onboarding

  • Have a specific focus on People Leader excellence across the geography in tandem with learning, talent development and communications teams

  • Design and implement global policies on employee relations, hybrid and return to office in partnership with other centres of excellence

  • Be an incredibly strong operator on a fast-paced scale, across regionally dispersed teams, utilising technology and change management to continuously optimise efficiencies and push the boundaries of what is possible

Who you are:

  • A true employee experience innovator, a change-agent, a problem solver and confident as a self-starter

  • A value-coach and business partner working cross-functionally to facilitate the overall people and culture agenda in EMEA

  • A generalist HR leader with experience working in a range of HR models, including geographically and HRBP matrixed model within a large-scale global organisation, having operated at a “Head of EMEA” level

  • A strategic leader who can take the organisation on a new journey and advocate change and transformation, and scale country-level HR to a regional and global-level

  • Strategic thinking ability with a strong operational and programmatic approach. The ability to develop a strategic plan and mobilise a large organisation’s operations to deliver the strategy

  • Strong EMEA Employee relations and jurisdiction expertise is a plus and able to represent EG at a government and policy level in key locations

  • You can demonstrate previous success having used target ‘customer’ experiences as a starting point for leading change and simplifying operations
