Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 3 students.
- Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Year 3 students in a primary school setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
