The Role

As a Workshop Technician, you will work closely with our S ervice Planning Team to carry out the assessment and remanufacture of all models of vacuum pumps returned by customers to our Telford workshop.

The main tasks for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsiblity for the assessment, strip down, cleaning, remanufacture and testing of returned pumps to the workshop.
  • Carrying out all work to an exemplary standard in line with pre-set performance targets and specifications.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is key throughout the process and that high-quality service is provided to all Busch UK Ltd customers in line with the customer charter
  • The accurate assessment of pumps being returned to ensure accurate costs are submitted for quotation
  • Ensuring that work is carried out to provide first time success through test.
  • Ensuring zero warrant claims

Your profile

  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship / Currently completing an Engineering Apprenticeship
  • Someone who is able to build a rapport and relationships with collegues
  • A solutions mindset
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to change and willingness to learn new skills
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
