Sodexo is looking for a highly organised and proactive Workplace Support Co-ordinator to provide efficient and cost-effective workplace support services. You’ll be the key point of contact for building services, ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-managed environment while delivering excellent service to staff and visitors.
What You'll Do
- Carry out daily floor walks to monitor site standards, including Health & Safety, security, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Act as the first point of contact for facilities-related issues, escalating where needed.
- Support site compliance by reviewing incidents, carrying out initial investigations, and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Manage inductions for new joiners and contractors, including security ID access.
- Maintain up-to-date site documentation such as Business Continuity Plans, security logs, and H&S training records.
- Monitor Helpdesk/Service Now calls and liaise with customers to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, reporting, and maintaining ISO 9001 standards.
- Participate in sustainability initiatives and ensure signage and communications meet corporate standards.
- Support with small moves, occasional out-of-hours work, and ad hoc duties as required.
- Experience in facilities management or workplace support services (minimum 1 year).
- Strong knowledge of H&S requirements and compliance.
- Excellent IT skills – Word, Excel and Outlook essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, flexible, and able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Highly personable, with the ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
- Calm, reliable, and able to respond effectively in emergency situations.
