Responsibilities

• Arrive ready to start work in plenty of time to be in your working area
• Work to the best of your ability at all times, completing all tasks with a Right First Time, On Time, Every Time attitude
• Assist in the manufacture of window products in accordance with company process instructions
• Lift heavy components, if required
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Follow instructions and tasks provided by Team Leaders or Managers
• Work to company agreed efficiencies
• Demonstrate personal performance against agreed timings by completing necessary performance documentation
• Use machinery in the production process following procedures and training, reporting any safety issues to your Team Leader
• Assist with maintenance and upkeep of machinery used
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with company quality standards at all times
• Keep a clean and tidy work station/area
• Contribute to company progression by working towards company objectives
• Be flexible in approach to demands and assist in all areas of the production process
• Complete system documentation accurately and within specified time frames when required
• Perform any assignments outside of normal working hours as reasonably requested
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Industry experience in window fabrication
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to lift heavy components when necessary
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
• Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
  
  

Desirable Requirements

• Additional qualifications or certifications in window fabrication or related field
• Experience with specific window fabrication technologies or machinery
  
  

Hours And Pay

• Monday to Thursday 6am -230pm (break at 9am and lunch at 12pm)
• Friday 6am -2pm (break at 9am and lunch at 12pm)
• Working a total of 38.25 hours per week
• Rate starts at £11.44 per hour but can be negotiable depending on level of relevant experience
