About The Role
As a Wellbeing Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of our College's Safeguarding, Prevent, and Inclusion agenda. You will provide a comprehensive wellbeing support service to individual learners and groups, helping them achieve their personal and academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Application Deadline: Sunday 8th June
As part of the recruitment process and in line with keeping children safe in education, we will conduct social media checks on shortlisted candidates. Additionally, before commencing employment, all employees undergo safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS.

About The Role
As a Wellbeing Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of our College's Safeguarding, Prevent, and Inclusion agenda. You will provide a comprehensive wellbeing support service to individual learners and groups, helping them achieve their personal and academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Wellbeing Support: Offer guidance and support through the Wellbeing Centre and electronic systems like Pro Suite and CPOMS.
- Interventions: Manage initial reports of learner concerns and provide short/medium-term interventions to promote retention and wellbeing.
- SMART Targets: Set and review SMART targets and individual wellbeing action plans.
- Monitoring: Keep a close watch on at-risk learners/groups and provide necessary interventions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with curriculum colleagues to support learner retention and progression.
- Professional Development: Opportunities for continuous professional development and participation in staff development activities.

- Qualifications: GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English. Willingness to work towards relevant qualifications in teaching, learning, and ICT.
- Experience: Experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching roles. Understanding of safeguarding, Prevent, and inclusion agendas.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage learners effectively, and proficiency in ICT.
