Job Overview

Job purpose

Working for a manufacturing organisation making carbon steel fittings for the gas transmission industry, you will be in the welding section. Our welding is fully tested both mechanically and ultrasonically and you will be trained in a number of welding processes. As part of the Ezeflow team, you will be cross trained as appropriate in other disciplines and you would be expected to work safely and to the required standard.

Engineering workshop skills

Fit up and fabrication work (including tack welding)

  • Welding including
  • Submerged Arc welding SAW
  • Tungsten inert gas welding TIG
  • Metal inert gas welding MIG
  • Stick welding MMA
  • Furnace (Heat Treatment)
  • Interpretation of technical drawings
  • Marking fitting angles
  • Operating horizontal Bandsaw
  • Other designated tasks (with correct training)

For School Leavers, We Are Looking For

Nat 5s in English and Maths as a minimum. A science or a technical Nat 5 would be advantageous or an NC or an equivalent qualification or relevant experience.

We would consider applicants who have completed a relevant foundation course.
