Summary
Seeking a Team Leader to oversee operations Fridays and Saturdays from 6am to 6pm.
The Role
Responsible for ensuring the efficient management and control of the Blast Operation whilst achieving agreed budgetary and service levels. Provide an effective and reliable service to customers whilst meeting all legal requirements. Responsible for organising the safe and efficient movement of raw material from fresh intake through the blast process, to feed business operations and customer demand.
Friday - Sunday
6am- 6pm
Pay: £13.80 per hour

Your Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company professionally and positively
- Ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations to meet demand
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce health and safety procedures
- Oversee safe, efficient movement of raw material through the blast process
- Direct and organise daily tasks for blast shift staff
- Align customer needs with business goals
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper stock labeling
- Maintain KPIs, reports, training, and safety records
- Provide cover for other Team Leaders when needed
- Ensure vehicles, machinery, and equipment are maintained and fit for use
- Allocate and maintain handling and scanning equipment
- Report stock issues and liaise with stock control
- Support special projects as assigned
- Follow all health and safety and COSHH regulations
- Uphold ethical policies and respectful conduct at all times
- Proven management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
- Highly developed inter-personal and communication skills coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within the business
- Ability to build, lead and motivate a skilled team able to meet objectives and agreed targets
- Good IT skills, in particular spread sheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse systems
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Analytical and numerical
