We are seeking a dedicated Waste Operative to take responsibility for the day-to-dayefficient movement of waste products out of the factory , ensuringoperations run smoothly and service levels are consistently met. In this keyrole, you will help maintain compliance with agreed business plans whilesupporting the safe, organised, and environmentally responsible management ofwaste.

- 42 hours per week
- 4 on, 4 off rota – 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts, then 4 days off
- £15.30 per hour

What You’ll Do
- Ensure efficient waste management and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor, report, and maintain equipment performance.
- Conduct regular checks and inspections as required by processes.
- Coordinate with internal departments on waste distribution and factory-related activities.
- Follow internal operating procedures and foster effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and suppliers.
- Engage in training and proactively support the Facilities Management team with a positive, can-do approach.
- Full FLT licence with electric pallet truck qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in customer-facing environments.
- Proven people management abilities and effective team leadership.
- Computer literate with a proactive, intuitive, and ‘can do’ approach.
- High personal integrity and commitment to maintaining professional standards.
- Target-driven, adaptable, and an effective team player
