Warehouse/Yard Operative

We are looking for a Warehouse/Yard Operative to join our Partnering store in Ashford!

If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We rely on our Warehouse & Yard Operatives to look after our stock, and make sure the warehouse and yard remains organised so that we can provide a great service for our customers through efficient picking of materials. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.

Here’s a Quick Overview Of Some Of The Things You Can Expect To Do As a Warehouse/Yard Operative With Huws Gray

• Loading and unloading of branch deliveries.
• Making sure all incoming stock is accounted for, raising any missing stock or low stock levels to management
• Keeping the warehouse and yard tidy, making sure that stock is stored in line with health and safety guidelines
• Safeguard against the theft of our stock by being security conscious at all times.

Although not essential, a Forklift licence would be an advantage for this role.
