Warehouse Operatives

Blue Arrow proud to work in support of our client, a world renowned manufacturer of water heating systems and leading local employer. Based at their spares warehouse in Castlewood Business Park, this is an exciting opportunity for a warehouse operative to start working in a busy and well organised dispatch warehouse on a temporary long on-going basis. This role has the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

(PLEASE NOTE: This is a full time, long on-going position. Any students applying will be rejected due to this requirement.)

Shift pattern available is:

Monday to Friday

Days: 09:45 - 17:45

Pay rate: £13.82 on days

Nights and other shift patterns may become available in the future.

These roles would have the successful applicants covering all general warehouse duties within the department. The ideal candidate must be multiskilled and happy to undertake a variety of interesting roles across the warehouse. Most candidates would start with basic tasks such as picking and packing and then progress onto more challenging tasks as they are trained.

Examples of the tasks involved would be:

• Picking and packing items in a fast paced environment
• Dispatching Spare parts for our Service organisation and Merchant Customers
• Utilizing the custom software and scanners for dispatching functions including common freight carrier selection
• Use of DPD auto labelling/Smart Sheets
• Administrative tasks with use of computers including the use of SAP
• Goods in, receiving and storing
• Processing returns
  
  

We are looking for candidates that:

• Have some administrative experience within the warehouse environment
• Have some experience with SAP or similar warehouse management system * Are comfortable in an active role - you will spend plenty of time on your feet!
• Are growth oriented - happy to learn new skills, take on a new task, support in different areas
• Are comfortable with technology and the use of computers, keen to learn new devices and systems
• Are pro-active, quality focused, professional, hardworking, reliable
