Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO Sittingbourne, we are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our fantastic team within our equipment management network. This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process for one of the leading grocery supermarkets, Morrisons. The site is a fast paced, diverse environment with plenty of development opportunities available.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on Any 5 from 7 shift pattern, covering the hours of either 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00 or 22:00 – 06:00.

• Hourly rate of £12.21
• 20% premium for the hours worked 22:00 – 06:00 and 10% for the hours of 17:00 – 20:00

What you will do on a typical day:

• Accurately and safely load and unload vehicles with all customer equipment and waste arriving at the site
• Safely and efficiently bale cardboard and plastic waste
• Ensure a hazard-free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the position as designated by the line manager
