We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join Applied Medical’s new warehouse in Bootle, Liverpool. As part of a small and dedicated team, you will be responsible for picking, scanning, sending, packing and sorting orders. This warehouse distributes our medical device products to our clients within the United Kingdom.


The team currently consists of 4 team members and works fulltime during normal business hours. You will report to the Manager Warehouse, UK.


Within Applied Medical, the title of this position is Distribution Center Material Handler.


Key responsibilities


  • Adequately and timely processing inbound, stock control, picking, packing, shipping or value-added logistics
  • Working together as a team to achieve the warehouse targets
  • Understand and follow Applied Medical’s Quality Systems (QS), the safety rules and company policies
  • Contribute to keeping the warehouse tidy and organized
  • Carry out daily stock cycle counts and quality control
  • Be proactive in reporting bottlenecks in processes and in providing input for improvements


What you bring


  • National Vocational Education, FCSE or similar degree
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a similar (Warehouse) position
  • Being a team player who works accurately and has a 'Can-Do Attitude' with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Experience in SAP is considered a plus
  • You live within a reasonable commuting distance from Bootle, Liverpool
