WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Lead and manage the Business Development and Account Management teams within the Network Transport Solutions division.
- Mentor and develop the sales force, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in transport solutions.
- Shape the sales strategy and drive the growth agenda within the Network Transport Solutions sector, creating and deploying sector-specific sales and account management strategies.
- Deliver sector growth targets and TTT (Top Tier Targets) targets, defining a strategic vision and developing a business plan to support it.
- Serve as a critical member of the Network Transport Solutions Senior Leadership Team and the UKI Business Development & Account Management Leadership Team, driving UKI performance.
- Engage with CEO/Board level stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop and drive Growth strategy within the Network Transport Solutions division.
- Create market-leading value propositions, develop the current product offering, and identify promising sales areas and industry trends within the transport sector.
- Conduct performance reviews, support personal development, and ensure the implementation of global and regional guidelines within the Network Transport Solutions division.
- Proven experience in a senior sales role within the Transport or logistics sector.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to shape and drive growth agendas.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with internal & external CEO/Board level stakeholders
- Strong understanding of market trends and the ability to develop innovative products and value propositions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
