Citizens Advice Warrington is looking for up to five new Trustees to join our Board. This is an exciting opportunity to support a vital local charity that provides advice and advocacy to over 6,000 people each year.

What are we looking for?

Governance/Risk Management Performance frameworks A connection with Warrington Lived experiences of the types of issues affecting our clients HR/Personnel Finance Marketing & Communications Partnership working within Public Health/NHS/Local Authority Information Technology/Digital/AI Experience of working with boards or committees is not essential, we will offer support and training if required.

What will you be doing?

Our clients face a wide range of challenges – including debt, welfare benefits, housing, employment, budgeting, immigration, and more. With a dedicated team of volunteers and staff, we work to ensure everyone has access to the support they need to move forward. As a Trustee, you’ll be part of the leadership team guiding the future of the organisation. You’ll help ensure that we live within our means, plan effectively, and continue to deliver high-quality, accessible services – especially in today’s challenging environment, where demand is high and the cost of living crisis is hitting our communities hard. We're particularly interested in candidates with skills or experience in Governance Risk Management Finance HR/Personnel Marketing and Communications Information Technology, Digital and AI No previous board experience is needed – we’ll provide support and training as required. If you're passionate about social justice, this is your chance to make a tangible impact. We’re also committed to increasing the diversity of our Board.
