We're a pub theatre company, based in Frome. And we're seeking people to join our steering group.
What difference will you make?
We bring small-scale, immersive drama to the local community. Being involved with the world of theatre is stimulating, challenging and fun.
What are we looking for?
You need to enjoy the experience of theatre. You don't need to be an actor; and bringing an outsider's viewpoint will be useful. Useful qualities are flexibility, a willingness to listen and collaborate, and an ability to get stuck in when the occasion arises. We could add a wide range of valuable skills, from fundraising to event management and business advice; along with an enjoyment of theatre.
What will you be doing?
We aim to put on three plays a year. The Steering Group selects the plays and appoints directors. It also sets up auditions, and generally gets involved with all aspects of putting on a play, from front of house to managing the money and dealing with venues.
