The SIDCN CIO was born out of the SIDCN Facebook group and created as a legal entity to represent its members of Small Charities and to give them voice amongst larger charity sector infrastructure bodies. Our vision is an inclusive world supporting healthier, sustainable and empowered communities around the globe. We support this by connecting, strengthening and championing Small International Development Charities so they are better able to support the communities they serve. We represent and connect thousands of small organisations across the UK and around the world, wishing to offer mutual support and amplify their voice. As a small Volunteer led organisation, this is a great opportunity to work with peers and colleagues to shape our strategy and deliver our mission.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for new trustees who want to make a difference. However if you have professional and/or lived knowledge or experience in the following areas that would be an added bonus Global Solidarity Equity & Inclusion Policy Digital/ IT Fundraising You don’t necessarily need previous experience on a Board as we will provide access to training and support.
What will you be doing?
We are seeking volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds to join the Charity Trustee Team. As a small volunteer lead charity coming through its first few years, we are looking for new Trustees with energy and capacity to support this small but passionate organisation. So whether you are well organised, a good communicator and listener, love problem solving, creative or sharing new idea, there is likely to be a role for you.
