What are we looking for?
We would like a mentors with coaching and mentoring skills to work one-one with mentees.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for individuals 18yrs and over who are able to encourage young people between age 11-19yrs (24yrs for those with SEND needs) to support them to meet their goals. It is envisaged that mentoring will usually take place weekly face -to -face and will be in a one - hour sessions with your mentee. The mentoring will follow the programme used by ASPIRE 2 Succeed which is needs-led and mentees are individually assessed. Mentor's will have an overview of the mentor programme. Responding to the mentee's individual needs and working with the mentee through a supportive and cathartic strategies will help the mentee to make changes in their life.
