We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting and Auditing Volunteer to support our charity’s financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer with experience in Accounting, finance, or auditing. Managing financial records and ledgers. Conducting audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and reconciliation of accounts. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets. Help ensure all financial transactions are recorded and reported accurately. Support the preparation of documents for external audits. Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and financial health. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement accounting best practices.
