We are supporting various customers worldwide in automotive systems development. We are recruiting a manufacturing process simulation expert to work with our OEM customer on their site as a Virtual Build Team Leader. The role involves owning the project management and delivery of new vehicle model DFM assessments, assuring the feasibility of parts/assemblies as they are designed.

Your responsibilities

• Full analysis the assembly process to validate facility tooling and new/modified parts & assemblies in the context of a configured Bill of Materials
• Check the product design to avoid costly post tooling release design changes
• Ensure Manufacturing readiness before first physical sub-assembly & vehicle builds
• Simulation to be conducted within DELMIA and Tecnomatix Process simulate (including VR)
• Communicate analysis via Virtual Build Review meetings (virtual & physical), PowerPoint presentations & workflows within PLM
• Manage communication between the Bertrandt on-site team and customer departments & managers.
• In the context of the customers PD process, plan and lead the virtual build project, manage status reporting and be the Bertrandt representative in customer led meetings.
  
  
  

What you bring along:

• Proven ability to self-mange workload and maintain a workplan to ensure project deliverables are met
• Well-developed ability to communicate effectively with activists at all levels within Bertrandt and the customer’s organisation
• Ability to be an independent and proactive actor in the interests of the project
• Experience in leading effective meetings (virtual build reviews, status report-outs and for issue resolution)
• Expert knowledge of DELMIA (DPM & DPE) V5-6 and Dassault 3DExperience platform.
• Expert knowledge of Teamcenter V24.06 or later and Tecnomatix Process simulate software V24.02 (PS on TC) or later.
• Knowledge of KVS, TruFusion, TEVON, AVON, Nolis systems is an advantage.
• Finally, bring flexibility to the demands of the working environment.
  
  
  

Position is confirmed inside IR35. Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK and hold a UK driver’s license.
