Security clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer. We’re looking for a Vetting Advisor to join our fast-paced HR People Services Team, the face of HR across the business. This team delivers high-quality support to employees and managers, combining passion, precision, and compliance in everything we do.
Your Role
- Manage your own caseload of vetting applications, ensuring timely and compliant processing.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on vetting procedures to employees and stakeholders.
- Handle complex vetting cases with discretion and sound judgement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with statutory and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues across HR and the wider business to ensure vetting standards are upheld.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance vetting processes.
- Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and vetting agencies to support seamless service delivery.
- Support reporting and analysis for the Vetting Manager and senior leadership.
- Experience in personnel security vetting, preferably NSV and ONR.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage high workloads and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Analytical thinking and confidence in managing complex cases.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- National Security Vetting will be required to undertake the role (Essential).
